OUR STORY

The Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA) is the national governing body for tennis in the Philippines. Established in 1920, it is recognized by both the International Tennis Federation and the Philippine Olympic Committee as the authority for the sport’s development and governance in the country.

PHILTA promotes the growth of tennis nationwide through structured grassroots programs, standardized coaching pathways, national tournaments, and comprehensive support for elite Filipino players competing on the global stage. Guided by principles of excellence, integrity, and inclusivity, PHILTA is building a modern, data-driven tennis ecosystem designed to expand participation, elevate competitive performance, and strengthen the Philippines’ presence in international tennis.
